Magical Figures of Les Vrais Clavicules
Les Vrais Clavicules features over a hundred illustrations of different magical figures and helpful items to use in spells. These two images show instructions for summoning and controlling spirits through the use of the figures drawn in red ink and the accompanying chants. The first image shows a page that is unusual in its blue painted color, which could have potentially been used as a glue, but for which the purpose is unknown. For this grimoire, drawing figures of all varieties, whether they are pentacles, runes, or something else, is an integral part of performing magic.
