Titlepage - Sofia

The titlepage of La Carta del Navegar Pitoresco gives a lot of information about this work including the title, the name of the author (Marco Boschini), the publishing press (Li Baba), where it was published (Venice), and the year it was published (1660). It also says that the work itself is divided into eight parts. There is an official stamp on the on the bottom of the page with an image of an animal inside. Next to the stamp is a floral motif that adorns the page. Also note the signature of the previous owner, F. Linckh, written in the margin.
