Title Page
The Title page includes important information on the bibliographic details of the book and on the life of Paul Rycaut. At the bottom of the Title page Rycaut notes the book was printed, by an unnamed printer, for publishers Henry Brome and John Starkey. Rycaut also references an address at the Mitre, a publishing and printing house.
In addition to basic bibliographic information, Rycaut includes a description of his position in government. Rycaut served as Secretary to the Earl of Winchilsea, the ambassador for Charles II to Sultan Mahomet Han IV of the Ottomans.
