Title Page and Introduction
The title page of this book contains a printing error. The two original publishers of this book were Robert Knaplock and Timothy Child, however, this version of the book says J. Child. When I compared this particular version of the book to several others of the same edition I only found T. Child printed.
This page also includes a quote from the Greco Roman poet Claudian, who frequently wrote about the exploits of the Roman commander Stilicho—the Roman commander of the west who defended Britain against the Pics, Scots, and Anglo-Saxon invaders from northern England.
