Table 3 contains illustrations of animal remains from the “’Musaeum Regalis Societatis’” section “Part 1: Of Animals.”  The descriptive supplementary text uses observational analysis to aid the reader in depicting the grand scale of the crocodile.  The use of observational and experimental skills is typical of the British Royal Society and the Baconian method of science, which includes the modern day scientific method.[1]
