Printer's Ornaments

Scattered throughout the dictionary are ornate illustrations used to fill the empty space left at the end of each letter. Not every letter contains left over space, so the illustrations are scattered throughout with no concrete pattern. Some images repeat, but none of the images recur in a consistent manner. The images also appear to depict traditional english ideals with a probable Christian Eagle, Queen of England, and other avian iconography.
