Cover and Binding
First, on the left is an image of the marbled paper cover of "Some Considerations Touching the Usefullnesse of Experimental Naturall Philosophy" and image of the ornate fore-edge decoration.
The next set of images below are of the book’s binding, end sheets, and end papers. The book has been re-bound, with quarter calf leather binding, likely in 1969 based on the date stamp on the bottom right of the pasted-down papers on the inner book cover. The original end papers were likely not replaced; the end papers look much older and more discolored than the pasted-down papers.
