Page 43 displays an introductory image to Chapter XI: "Of the Visier Azem or Prime Visier, his Office, the other fix Visiers of the Bench, and the Divan or Place of Judicature."

The image itself is of "The Prime Vizier" atop a horse, surrounded by three men, all wearing different turbans to distinguish their role. There is a small stain within the engraving's picture plane.

The text to the left is the conclusion to the preceding chapter.
