From the title page, we can find information on the source and see markings the previous owner made. The title page lets the reader know that this book is volume one of a larger collection and features forty three colored engravings. Also, there are religious references in here, as the author is a reverend and the quote "Gloria in excelsis Deo" is a hymn that refers to the glory of the Almighty.
