Ave, virgo virginum
Ave, lumen luminum,
Ave, stella praevia
Mediatrix hominum
Ablutrixque criminum
Ave, virgo regia
Castitatis lilium,
Consolatrix omnium,
Peccatorum venia.
Munda sordes scelerum,
Cicatrices vulnerum
Terge, plena gratia.
De peccati vinculo,
Hoste, carne, saeculo,
Libera nos, Maria.
Hail, virgin of virgins
Hail, light of lights,
Hail, star preliminary
Mediator of men
Purifier of sins
Hail, queen of virgins.
Lily of chastity,
Comfort of all,
The forgiveness of sins.
Clean smudge crimes,
Scars and wounds
Cleared, full of grace.
The sin bond,
The enemy, the flesh, the world, Deliver us, Mary.
Tu nostrum refugium,
Da reis remedium,
Procul pelle vitia.
Infirmos tu visita,
Mortuos resuscita,
Da maestis solacia.
Per te iustis gratia,
Per te reis venia
Datur et laetitia.
Virgo carens simili,
Tu, quae mundo flebili
Contulisti gaudia,
Nos digneris visere,
Ut cum Christo vivere
Possimus in gloria.
You are our refuge,
Give defendants a remedy,
At skin flaws.
Sick you visit,
Dead raise,
Give sad comforts.
By you the just grace
You by the defendants permissions
Given and joy.
Virgin missing or similar
You, which the world plaintive
Contain joys,
We guidance visit,
As with Christ to live
We are in the glory.
