The illustration on page 625 of La Carta del Nauegar Pitoresco in the vento otavo is an image of a young woman painting a classical image in an outdoor setting. Another woman (presumably older) stands next to her, holding a laurel wreath over her head. This is most likely a symbol of elevation status or achievement. This woman also holds a book in her hand, presenting the possibility that she could be the young woman's instructor. In the background is some sort of classical structure and a sculpture of Atlas holding the globe on his sholders. There is also a heavy use of crosshatching to demonstarte shading and depth in this image.
