Dans ces extraits, on voit comment Mohamed essai d’exprimer les différences de son culture de la culture Français, mais il ne réussit pas complètement.  Je trouve que cette interview montre clairement la bataille des migrants d’être compris par les gens qui s’identifie différemment.</text>

                <text>Certainement, on sait qu’il existe des inégalités dans et à travers de nos cultures et sociétés, mais il est beaucoup plus facile de comprendre le niveau auquel les migrants ont du mal à être compris par les nouvelles cultures en examinant les cas spécifiques.  Mohamed Choukri est un homme marocain qui a grandi dans une famille très pauvre.  Avec sa famille, et comme les autres familles comme la sienne, ils luttaient d’un espoir d’échapper leurs propres vies.  À l’époque, le rêve commun était d’échapper du Maroc et de traverser la Méditerranée pour réaliser une meilleure vie de l’autre côté.  Là-bas, il y aurait plein de nourritures, d’argent, et de prospérité.  Cependant, ce rêve trompait tout le monde qui y croyait, car le but n’était presque jamais accompli.  Dans son roman Le pain nu, Choukri partage avec les lecteurs son propre récit de la pauvreté, le faim, l’angoisse familiale, et beaucoup d’autre choses très proches aux familles habitant dans le Maghreb postcolonial.  Les effets de la colonisation de l’Afrique du nord par les européens ont créé la plupart des problèmes politiques dans cette région.&#13;
	Dans la vidéo attachée, on regarde une interview avec Choukri et deux français blancs.  Là-dedans, les deux hommes questionnent Mohamed au sujet de son père, disant que son père était un monstre et un homme horriblement troublé avant de lui demander ses propres opinions sur son père.  Mohamed répond en disant que, après avoir mûri, il comprend beaucoup mieux le contexte du comportement de son père.  Il dit que son père était poissé à la folie par les questions et commentaires sans fin de lui et son frère.  Dans son état bouleversé, le père tue le frère de Mohamed.  Choukri partage que, à la fois, il détestait son père.  Mais, dans son âge adulte, après avoir fait la connaissance de la culture européenne et comprenant sa propre culture mieux, il partage que son expérience n’était pas unique.  Sa culture met beaucoup de stresse sur les pères, jusqu’à leurs folies, comme son cas.  Il n’essaie pas de dire qu’il soutient des actions de son père, mais il essaie de partager qu’il comprend son père et les différences culturelle qui souligne les importances différentes sur les choses uniques à sa culture.  &#13;
Dans le film « La traversée », on rencontre ces récits qui sont, de temps en temps, difficile à comprendre.  Là-dedans, il y a un père algérien qui explique qu’il doit travailler en France pour gagner bien sa vie, mais il ne va jamais élever sa famille dehors d’Algérie.  Sa culture postcoloniale le force d’être loin de sa famille, mais cette distance ne veut pas dire qu’il ne se soucie pas de sa famille de l’autre cote de la mer.  Cette une différence culturelle que beaucoup de gens ont de la difficulté à comprendre.&#13;
	Dans cette interview, on voit l’incapacité des français blancs de comprendre la culture de Choukri.  Comme ils n’ont jamais connu une histoire aussi crue, il est difficile pour eux de s’identifier avec l’expérience de Mohamed.  Ils n’ont pas la capacité d’analyser leur propre culture non plus, les empêchant de comprendre les différences des autres.  Cette bataille est trop commune pour les minorités, venant d’une espace malentendus par les gens autour d’eux.  Il existe une incapacité dans les cultures de majorités, les cultures occidentales qui les empêche d’écouter ou accepter les gens qui s’identifie différemment qu’eux.</text>
